Eric Ennis

“It was during my regime as president (of the Society for the Preservation of Historic Oakwood) that the City announced that a road was going to come through. It was going to affect Mordecai and Oakwood. It was going to stretch from Capital Boulevard into town, a big four lane highway extending out to Capital Boulevard… It was going to follow Bloodworth Street. If that had gone through, there would be no Oakwood today.”

Eric first lived at 400 Polk Street, and at three other addresses after that, all within Oakwood.
